This month's photo crawl from the San Francisco Photography Workshop and Portfolio Builders MeetUp (#SFPhotoCrawl) challenged us to put two [or more] pictures in one frame which requires a new way of thinking about composition since I mostly try to compose a robust single subject.
We gathered on the San Francisco Bay Trail just a little ways from the Golden Gate Bridge. I spent most of the time in Fort Point, which is always fun for taking pictures. The arches and masonry make it a beautiful frame for anything or anyone you find in there.
The most significant challenge photographing in Fort Point is not to get caught in anything I've taken there before. Fortunately, I can never get enough heroic trenchcoats flapping in the wind and anything that fits into super mirrored sunglasses.
